About Us

EU Safety Net is an institutional civil society organization operated by EU citizens and officially registered in Latvia. Our primary objective is to combat the proliferation of illegal digital content across the Baltic states, with a dedicated focus on disrupting illicit online marketplaces (drug shops) and automated malicious software (bots). Our operations are strictly governed by and executed within the legal framework of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065—the Digital Services Act (DSA).

Institutional Cooperation

To ensure systemic enforcement and operational efficiency, EU Safety Net works in close alignment with competent national regulatory authorities within the Baltic jurisdiction. We actively collaborate and escalate unresolved digital violations to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) in Latvia, the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA) in Estonia, as well as relevant state and international law enforcement agencies, including the Cybercrime Department of the Latvian State Police.
